Rapid Fire Discussion: February 2nd

You all live in a digital age. The term used for students of your generation is "digital natives."

Digital natives are people who grew up with technology, and specifically the internet. You are the most connected generation to date because of social media, but also one of the easiest to mislead.

Please read this website as we will be discussing it.

Today we will also be introducing each other and how to use Google Drive.

To do this we will be playing two truths and a lie.

Go fill out your name in the two truths and a lie document so that we can discuss it.

We will also be going through how to create a Google Drive Assignment folder.

Setting Up Your Assignments Folder

Your homework to complete before Wednesday is simple, set up an assignment folder in Google Drive.


Follow the following, simple steps:

• Log in to Google Drive with your student webmail, @EDUCBE.CA account (those who can't remember it can email me at MDWAY@CBE.AB.CA

• Create a folder that is named [YourLastName][YourFirstName]MedStudiesIntroAssignments
• For example, mine would be WayMitchellMedStudiesIntroAssignments (use underscores if the lack of spaces makes you uncomfortable).
