Anatomy Arcade: Whack a Bone and Poke a Muscle
Today we will begin working on Anatomy Arcade. This tool...alright it's a game...is meant to help you learn the major muscles and bones in the body.
There is no assignment attached to this, but we will be having a muscles, bones and cell organization(from the video below) quiz on Monday.
I recommend after finishing Whack a Bone and Poke a Muscle, that you challenge a friend or desk-mate to each of the activities to better your scores.
Good Luck.

Because of the nature of the course, the computers in the lab are going to be heavily utilized.
A couple of things to note before we start:
- This course is designed to stimulate your learning in a variety of ways. It will include individual activities that involve colouring worksheets that will be closely contrasted by small group presentations where you will be expected to become experts and sharer your new-found expertise with the class.
- This course focuses on skills relevant to 21st century learning. You will research, present, collaborate and work as teams nearly every day in this class. If this bothers you, then I suggest looking into another profession .
- This blog will be a hub for communication but all individual communications can be sent to MDWAY@EDUCBE.CA or MDWAY@CBE.AB.CA (please note that my @educbe.ca account can only receive email from other @educbe.ca accounts)
- If you come to school every day with an open mind this course will be very enjoyable for everyone involved.
I look forward to getting to know everyone better in the coming days as we begin our journey to understand the world of Medical Science.
